Commemoration of the 55th anniversary of the CNPEP RADWAR SA

On December 2nd an occasional ceremony dedicated to the 55th anniversary of our company was held. The guests of honour at the celebration were: Head of the National Security Bureau - Secretary of State Aleksander Szczygło - on behalf of the President of the Republic of Poland and Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence Marcin Idzik.

The group of invited guests included also representatives of the Polish armed forces, authorities of the Masovian voivodeship, capital city of Warsaw and its Praga South district as well as representatives of governmental offices, defence sector industrial plants, universities, scientific institutes, R&D centres and media.

The President of CNPEP RADWAR SA Leszek Pawłowski in his inauguration address presented the Company brief history, emphasized a great importance of its staff in creation of the Company current image and expressed gratitude to all collaborating institutions, thanks to which we are an up-to-date company successfully performing its tasks.

Another important speech, delivered by Marketing Director Marek Borejko, was a multimedia presentation illustrating our current activity areas, potential and long-term plans of future development.

One of the chief items of the programme was awarding the state and professional distinctions and medals. Due to decision of the President of the Republic of Poland, twenty eight persons had been awarded with gold and silver Medals for Long-standing Service and another group of thirty seven persons, due to decision of the Minister of National Defence, had been decorated with gold, silver and bronze Medals of Merits for Country Defence. The second time in our Company history the badges of Merits for CNPEP RADWAR SA were awarded to seven persons. The state medals were awarded - on behalf of the President of the Republic of Poland - by the Secretary of State Aleksander Szczygło, while the professional distinctions - by the Under-secretary of State Marcin Idzik.

The President of the Bumar Group Edward E. Nowak in his address passed congratulations to all awarded persons and expressed gratitude to all RADWAR employees for their efforts and gained results, which bring satisfaction to the users of equipment produced by the Polish defence industry.

The jubilee celebration had been accompanied by an exhibition presenting achievements and some products of the current RADWAR offer - like the OWL observation and warning radar sensor, RUCZAJ rucksack system of water purification, IKZ-02 IFF interrogator, TAFIOS-B automatic contamination detector and REGA-3 and -4 devices, being the components of a command system.
