Description

The WM-2 mine detector is intended for detecting antitank mines having a metal body or other metal elements (explosive cap, actuating mechanism). It can also detect aerial bombs, artillery shells and other metal pieces under the ground, snow or water.

This mine detector features an ergonomic design. The search coil is fixed on a telescopic arm with adjustable length. The signal processing unit, with operation controls and the power supply, can be fixed to the telescopic arm or the soldier's belt, so that he will operate only the lightweight search-coil pole provided with a suitable handle and a forearm rest to provide a comfortable and firm grip.

The WM-2 mine detector is capable of operation in severe environmental conditions:

• in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +50°C
• in rainfall and snowfall
• in dusty environment
• with the coil head immersed in water up to 1 m deep
