IKZ-02 Short-Range Interrogator Set

Description

The IKZ-02 is an IFF interrogator set compatible with the Mk XA and Mk XII systems. It is mainly dedicated for integration with short-range surface-to-air and surface-to-surface weapon systems. Featuring small dimensions and light weight, built-in battery operation and provided with an antenna resistant to battlefield conditions, the IKZ-02 is perfectly suited for man portable air defence systems (Manpads), as well as any other short-range antiaircraft systems using both missile and gun launchers. The IKZ-02 equipment has been made hardened to extremely severe environmental conditions, so it can be used in any military service, including warships.
The IKZ-02 performs fully automatically, its operating modes stored in the memory module which is attached to the interrogator unit. The identification result can be sent to the fire control system to automatically prevent engaging targets identified as friendly.
